Cookie policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, others collect statistics and require your consent, as set out in the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021.
Your preferences
You can change your mind at any time: analytics is switched on or off immediately. Your choice, whether you accept or reject, is remembered for 6 months; after that we will ask again, as the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines require.
What we use
Technical tools (always on)
To remember the choice you make in the banner we store a preference in your browser’s local storage, named medev-consent. It contains nothing that identifies you and lasts 6 months, or until you delete it or change your choice. It needs no consent because it is required to respect your decision.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you accept, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, services of Google Ireland Limited, to learn in aggregate how the site is used. Before you consent these tools are not loaded at all. Personalised advertising always stays off.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells visitors apart, pseudonymously, for statistics | 2 years | |
| _ga_<ID> | Keeps the analytics session state | 2 years |

What we don’t use
- profiling or advertising cookies;
- social media buttons that track browsing;
- fonts, maps or videos loaded from third-party servers: the site’s fonts are hosted on the site itself and the office map opens only if you click the link.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides the site preferences, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, the site keeps working but won’t remember your choice.
